Knitting & TV

I don't know how many of you watch Grey's Anatomy. I don't watch it, but I had it on while I was busy doing other things in my apartment. One character on the show managed to knit a sweater in one day. And not only did she manage to knit this sweater (for a grown man) in one day, she apparently had time to sew the seams and block the thing. Oh, yes, and she had time to wear this sweater for three hours (in order to leave her scent on it) before giving it to her patient. Only on television are such knitting miracles possible. I certainly could not have done it. Oh, yes, I forgot to mention that she apparently had this much down time during her work day at the hospital. I can't get that much knitting done in my own apartment.

Girl, I was so watching "Grey's Anatomy" with my roommate (also a knitter) and the first knitting scene we were like, she knits terribly. And she was the terribly knitter. Though the "good knitter" actress was a decent knitter, a whole sweater in a day when you an intern at a hospital? Yeah, RIGHT.

It's a good show otherwise, though.
