Regia Bamboo Socks and, yes, a fabric stash

I made these socks using Regia Bamboo 1071 (45% bamboo, 40% superwash new wool, and 15% polyamide), which my Hot Socks swap pal Lee sent me. These were a really quick knit. I used a 3x1 rib, Sherman short-row heel, and regular decreased toe over 64 stitches on size 1 dpns.
Regia Bamboo is incredibly soft. It's fluffy and bouncy and has a little strand of something that looks like it's made of pearls. Trekking also has a new line of bamboo sock yarn, but it doesn't compare with the Regia in terms of softness.
The socks are resting on a new addition to, yes, my fabric stash. Leslie warned me that some day, I would find myself hunting down and hoarding fabric; behold, the prediction has come true. The Lone Knitter would like to try her hand at quilting this year.

I am so thrilled to see you creating a fabric stash. I'm so addicted to fabric, it is really sad. I may need a 12 step program! I just started my first quilt over the weekend and it was really fun. I love the fabric, but I wouldn't be able to quilt with it, I'd have to wear it!

Hey there! Cool fabric, and great socks! I am so glad that you liked the yarn! I am a sewer.. not a huge quilter.. I like to make clothing, and sometimes bags of different types. But I always LOVE fabric!

Uh oh! You are in so much trouble!! Ha ha. Have fun with the quilting. I don't think I'm quite ready for it yet, but I have started a fabric stash of my own. Looking forward to seeing your FO's!
Great socks too, lady! I'll have to give that Bamboo a try now.

Yet another talent?? I have a fabric stash that is yours when you get back. Pieces I collected, but realistically, I'm never going to get to the art of quilting. The socks are great!!! I'm looking for a pattern for the sleeping socks, where did you get it?? I've decided to make Dad J some jazzy socks, advise about easiest pattern, please. This will be my maiden attempt in the sock world, another skill to learn. I'm almost finished the first blanket, I've been spending far too much time oggling at the yarn shop and trying to get blogspot to work with the mac (not an easy task) Crafty Granny

You are a sock knitting wonder! Every time I look at your page up pops a new pair. Can you share whatever magic has charmed your needles? I just finished my Socktoberfest project... months late.

I can't wait to see your sewing creations. As I was opening the picture, even before I read the entry, I was thinking, "Mmm, great background fabric." I take no responsibility for the size of your future fabric stash. (But by all means, shop on and show us your beautiful finds!)

Love the socks. My fabric stash is a lot older than my yarn stash, to which I just added some Regia Bamboo.
